‘Prisoners’ enters Iranian home entertainment market

Iranian feature ‘Prisoners’ has entered the domestic home entertainment market.

Directed by Masoud Dehnamaki, ‘Prisoners’ entered the market on Tuesday.

The movie tells the story of a young student who is examining the cases of a number of prisoners to use the results in her thesis.

‘Prisoners’ is starring Hedayat Hashemi, Borzou Arjmand, Behnam Tashakkor and Houman Barqnavard.

Bahareh Afshari, Behnoush Bakhtiyari, Asghar Naqizadeh and Amir Nouri have also appeared in the movie.

The film made about 5 billion rials at the Iranian box office earlier this year.

ifilm interviewed the film’s director as well as the visual effects supervisor Saeed Khalili, the director of photography Farshad Golsefidi, and the actor Nouri, and released the report back in May.
